GMESS (March 17, 2026)

GMESS is a practical Windows toolkit for teams who maintain GENCON or TGCM units.

It helps service staff export display messages from firmware, edit them safely, reuse existing translations, rebuild updated firmware, and deploy updates with less risk.

Main Capabilities

• Export messages from firmware, edit them in text form, and rebuild updated firmware safely

• Reuse existing translations when a new firmware version arrives

• Program flash, dump devices, and service EEPROM data from one Windows toolkit

• Use gpane as a live screen mimic and parameter recording service

• Sends keypad actions from the keyboard so technicians can navigate screens without standing at the panel

• Records SET-UP parameters to CSV for documentation, commissioning, and support follow-up

• Gives service teams a practical view of what the unit is doing in real time
